Yellow Alert Declared in Mangalore & Udupi Till June 12
The Indian Meteorological department said that the coastal districts will receive heavy rainfall from June 10, Thursday. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Dakshina Kannada & Udupi districts till June 12. In addition, orange and red alert are announced for the next two days in the districts as very heavy rain is expected to lash the districts. The alert has been issued in the wake of low pressure that has developed in the Bay of Bengal.
