September 7: Mangalore city police operated his popular twitter handle @compolmlr giving information on important developments in the city. Along with this, the commissioner has come up with a new twitter handle @MangaluruPolice that will help them connect with the people more effectively.
The new handle will initially be used to post general information like common dos and don’ts. This new twitter handle is managed by a team trained by commissioner PS Harsha.
While talking about the new twitter handle @MangaluruPolice commissioner Harsha said that this is the first step in using it to further boost online engagement with netizens of this coastal city. This will provide information on traffic, special drives by the police and other general advises.
