115 Vehicles seized in Mangalore: Number Plates Being the Reason

September 7: The Mangalore city police had conducted a special drive to check the vehicles with faulty number plates. The drive was launched in the Mangalore Police Commissionerate jurisdiction.
Commissioner of Police, having vehicles without number plates and vehicles with defective and fancy number plates is an offence and will be assumed to be used for illegal activities.
The Police have seized 75 vehicles on On September 4, Wednesday and40 vehicles on September 6, Friday. Commissioner has appealed to the public to display the number plates on their vehicles clearly.
