May 19: Covid-19 Helpline 1077 provides continuous service 24 hours a day throughout the country.

The Control Room in the district has so far responded to over 32,000 calls. In the early days of the lockdown, there were calls from people in the district for assistance in providing essential items, pass for emergency medical reasons. More than 1,000 to 1,500 calls began after the government allowed migrant workers to travel to other districts and states. There are currently over 500 calls a day. as many as 35 people are responding to the calls on the helpline number.
