Udupi District Likely to Receive Heavy Rainfall on August 3 & 4: IMD Issues Warning
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning to Udupi district that winds of 30 to 40 km per hour are going to lash many places of the district on August 3 and 4.
Deputy commissioner (DC) K Vidya Kumari has cautioned people to be careful. Public getting into sea, river banks, ponds and rivulets is strictly prohibited. People are advised not to stand beneath dilapidated buildings, trees and poles and be cautious.
