Here Are The Details of Concerts by Musicians Manikanth Kadri & Raghu Dixit Which Will Be Held During Beach Festival

Karavali Utsava’s Beach Festival will be held at Tannirbhavi Beach No. 1 on December 28 and December 29. Concerts by musicians Manikanth Kadri and Raghu Dixit will be among the programmes scheduled during the festival.

Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal said Manikanth Kadri’s concert will be held on December 28, and Raghu Dixit’s on December 29, both at 7.30 p.m. There will be a performance by local artists at 5.30 p.m. on December 28. Speaker U.T. Khader will inaugurate the beach festival at 6.30 p.m. The day will end with performance by Manikanth Kadri and team.

The second day will begin with a yoga session at 5.30 a.m. This will be followed by Udaya Raga concert by Vidwan Devadutta Prabhu, Vidushi Srilatha Prabhu and students at 6.30 a.m. There will be a sand sculpture competition at 9.30 p.m. After dance performances by local artists at 5.30 p.m., there will be a concert performance by Raghu Dixit and team.

The Police Commissioner said six parking spaces for cars and two-wheelers will be provided on the road leading to Tannirbhavi Beach for two days. Heavy vehicles which usually park on the roadside will be made to park in parking terminals meant for heavy vehicles.

The fuel tankers on Tannirbhavi stretch will operate only till 2 p.m. on both days. Adequate police personnel and home guards will be deputed during the beach festival. There will be more ferries operating between Sultan Bathery and Tannirbhavi Beach no. 2. More buses will operate between Tannirbhavi beach no. 2 and beach no. 1 during the festival.

Deputy Commissioner M.P. Mullai Muhilan said there have been more visitors to dramas staged at the Karavali Utsav Ground. A good number people have visited the stall replicating forest and those related to acquarium at the Karavali ground.
