The New Queue Complex at Dharmasthala to be Inaugurated on January 7: Know More

The new ‘Sri Saanidhya’ queue complex at Dharmasthala will be inaugurated on Tuesday, January 7. The cutting-edge queue system complex has been built to improve the waiting experience of devotees seeking darshan of Manjunatha Swamy temple at Dharmasthala.

During the peak time, long waiting periods became unavoidable. While the temple authorities provided water, food, and other amenities, the administrator sought to improve the waiting system. Hence the new state-of-the-art queue complex was built.

The new three-storey complex is a 2,75,177 sq ft. building. It has 16 halls, each hall can accommodate 600 to 800 devotees at a time. The entire complex can accommodate up to 12,000 devotees. The large air-conditioned halls have advanced technology for temperature control. The complex has facilities such as wash rooms, childcare rooms, drinking water, and cafeterias. They have digital TV and audio systems for entertainment and information. They have Queue Management System (QMS) introduced by Bosch and AI-based camera surveillance for queue control and security.

The QMS is integrated with 160 AI-based cameras for real-time monitoring and security. In case of any emergency, the system can trigger alerts to the command room for immediate response. The complex is equipped with 263 speakers and 54 amplifiers to broadcast live information, emergency updates, and instructions to the devotees.
