Proud Moment: Mangalorean Student Angela Sarah D’Almeida Wins ‘Artist of The Year’ Title at IYMC, USA

Mangalorean Angela Sarah D’Almeida, has brought immense pride to the nation by winning the prestigious ‘Artists of the Year’ title at the International Youth Music Competition (IYMC) held in December 2024 in Atlanta, USA. She was awarded an absolute winner in her category with a perfect score of 100. Angela showcased her talent in the solo category, under the guidance of her mentor Tanisha Herbert from Bengaluru. She performed the song ‘Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth in the recorded category.

Angela Sarah D’Almeida is grade 6 student from Mount Carmel Central School, Mangalore. Angela is the proud daughter of Dr Vivian D’Almeida and Dr Joylene D’Almeida from Maryhill, Mangalore.
