318 BJP Elected Representatives Resign: Here is the Reason

August 27: As many as 318 elected representatives of BJP including from Zilla Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, gram panchayats, cooperative societies and APMC have tendered their resignations to Sullia Mandala Samithi president Venkat Valalambe. The president said The denial of ministerial berth is an injustice to Sullia constituency. The non-cooperation movement launched by elected representatives and BJP leaders will continue   demanding ministerial berth for six-time MLA S Angara.
In spite of the non-cooperative movement, BJP leaders from Sullia will take part in the installation ceremony of Nalin Kumar Kateel as BJP state president in Bengaluru on August 27. Around 250 to 300 BJP workers and leaders from the Sullia Assembly constituency will participate in the ceremony.
