Yellow Alert Declared in Mangalore & Udupi For Next Four Days: Heavy Rains With Thunder Expected

Rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, began in most parts on Sunday evening. In Udupi, rain showered in the early hours of Monday. While Kundapur and Udupi received moderate rains, Karkala experienced a heavy downpour. Light rain fell in Mangaluru and its outskirts early Monday morning. A tree was uprooted near Bikkarnakatte, causing a traffic jam for some time. As the day progressed, cloudy weather prevailed.

A yellow alert has been declared in the coastal district for the next four days. Heavy rains with thunder are expected, along with high-velocity winds as predicted by the meteorological department.
