A bison found dead in Dakshina Kannada District

July 26: A bison was found dead nnear railway tracks at Kapikadu in Mani Kodaje. It is suspected that the bison might have been killed after it was hit by a train which was travelling between Mangalore and Subrahmanya. Forest officials visited the spot.
