A Gym at Yemmekere Swimming Pool Complex is All Set to Open Within The Next 10 Days: Check Out

The gym at the Yemmekere swimming pool complex is all set to open within the next 10 days. The pool, for the last three months, is being managed by We One Aqua Centre.

Naveen, the director of the swimming pool said that the gym, equipped with fitness equipment worth approximately Rs 4 lakh, will be made available for competitive batch swimmers. The goal is to upgrade the pool to a Khelo India Centre, and work in this regard is expected to begin soon. Once recognised as a Khelo India Centre, swimmers will receive additional facilities.

The international-standard swimming pool, equipped with modern amenities, was developed on a two-acre plot belonging to the department of youth empowerment and sports at a cost of Rs 25 crore through the Mangalore Smart City Limited (MSCL).

The pool operates from 5:30am to 9:45pm, with school students getting dedicated training hours from 10am to 3pm.
