A New Task Force Will be Formed to Promote Beach Tourism in Coastal Districts
Coastal districts will soon have a Beach Tourism Development Task Force said that a new task force will be formed to promote beach tourism in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttar Kannada. Initiatives are being taken to develop Sasihitlu Beach into an international surfing centre.
Minister of health and family welfare and Dakshina Kannada Dinesh Gundu Rao said that the proposal to develop an air strip at Dharmasthala will not only help promote pilgrim tourism, but also encourage the industrial sector.
