A small reason leads to the assault of KSRTC bus conductor

June 1: A KSRTC bus conductor was assaulted by a passenger and his accomplices for demanding a ticket for luggage. He is being treated at a private hospital in Ujire. A complaint was given by the conductor , who is working in KSRTC 3 Unit Mangalore.
As per the complaint, a passenger boarded with four pieces of luggage to travel to Ujire, when the conductor issued a ticket of Rs 254, the passenger refused to pay and the bus conductor stopped the bus near Farangipete Police outpost. Even though the passenger was made to pay the ticket money, with the help of the Police, he later called up his friends in Ujire, who later assaulted the conductor.
A case has been registered at Belthangady police station under Indian Penal Code sections 504, 323, 353 and 506.
