The Railways will operate a special train between Yeshwanthpur and Karwar (Madgaon) to clear the extra passenger rush during the Shivaratri festival.

Train No. 06507 Yeshwanthpur–Madgaon Jn. Express Special will leave Yeshwanthpur at 12.30 p.m. on Friday, February 13, to reach Madgaon Jn. at 6.45 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06508 Madgaon Jn.–Yeshwanthpur Express Special will leave Madgaon Jn. at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 16, to reach Yeshwantpur at 4.45 a.m. the next day.

The train will halt at Chikbanavar, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantwala, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapur, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road, Ankola, and Karwar.

It will have a total of 20 coaches: one Composite (First class + 2 Tier AC), two each of 2-Tier and 3-Tier AC, nine sleeper class, four general class, and two luggage cum brake van coaches.
