ACP comes up with a new Initiative ‘COP OF THE MONTH’

Mangalore North Subdivision ACP Srinivas Gowda has come up with a new initiative where sleuths with notable achievements would be rewarded with a trophy. This initiative is named “Cop of the Month’. This was introduced on a trial basis in the month of January this year and has now been streamlined.
While the awardee would flaunt his trophy with pride, his colleagues would work hard to earn one next month.
This is considered as a great motivation among the police officers. Every month, each police personnel is selected from all six police stations which comes under Mangalore North Subdivision, and is chosen based on certain criteria like attendance, discipline, public relations, knowledge on rowdies in their area.
Rotary club has volunteered to bear the expenses of 72 trophies, which are 6 trophies per month.  The awardee of every month will be felicitated by City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil.
