Additional grants to Tulu Bhavana – Assures Minister U T Khader!

District In charge Minister U T Khader assures that he will take all the required measures needed to get the additional grants required by Tulu Bhavana in Mangalore. These grants have to be released by the Department of Kannada & Culture.

Week long Tulu Drama fest which was organised by the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy in association with Mangalore City Corporation was inaugurated at Town Hall on 9th March.  He stated that “Tulu is a rich language & Tulu Theatre has contributed to the growth of Tulu Language.  Tulu Sahitya Academy should organize drama fests too”

Speaking after the inauguration of the Tulu Drama fest, Minister Khader mentioned that an additional amount of Rs 3.5 crore was sought to complete the Tulu Bhavana. A Proposal has to be submitted to Kannada & Culture Minister to sanction the said amount.

Tulu Sahitya Academy President A C Bhandary said that the Mangalore City Corporation had given Rs 5 lakh for organizing Tulu drama fest last year & they are expecting financial assistance this year too.
