Adulteration of milk: Hindu Jana Jagruthi Samithi demands a check

Members of Hindu Jana Jagruthi Samithi submitted a memorandum, demanding steps to check adulteration of milk to Udupi Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati.
Samithi members said that detergent powder, caustic soda, artificial colouring agents, refined oil and other chemicals are being used to adulterate the milk.
Mohan Singh Ahluwalia, member of Animal Welfare Board of India said that adulterated milk was consumed by lakhs of Indians and such adulteration is harmful to the health of human beings. Vishwanath Nayak of Samithi demanded that the government should initiate suitable measures to check such adulteration. He also said that the porn sites should be banned.
