An eight-month-old baby girl found dead in Bolar

May 29: An eight-month-old baby girl Mounashri was found dead at the banks of the Netravathi in Bolar. Mangalore South Police have suspected that  girl’s mother strangulated the child to death and has committing the murder.
Mounashri is the daughter of Lakshman Tenginahal and Roopa who are construction workers from Koppal, currently living in a thatched hut in M-farm Camp in Bolar.
Sources said that Tenginahal did not go to work on Monday as he was unwell but his wife Roopa left for work at around 8 a.m. Tenginahal had gone out in the noon after he had put his child in a cradle. But found his child missing when he returned.  later in the evening at around 6 p.m, the body of the child was found on the banks of the river Nethravathi.
