Anganwadi centres in Kasargod and Manjeshwar to function only on Tuesdays

April 11: Due to increase in temperature and acute water crisis, Anganwadi centres in Kasargod and Manjeshwar Blocks will function only on Tuesdays. A release from District Collector Dr D Sajith Babu said that Anganwadi centres will function from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, to distribute milk and nutritious food to children and pregnant women. The release stated that as April 23 is a holiday on account of polling, the food will be distributed on following Tuesday, on April 30.
