Arrangements Made to Witness the Diamond Ring During Solar Eclipse in Udupi: Check Out

December 24: Students and people can participate in large numbers to witness the ‘diamond ring’ during the solar eclipse between 8 am and 11 am on December 26. Arrangements have been made at Poornaprajna College for people to witness the celestial event.
Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha and ISRO scientist B K Niveditha will take part. ISRO retired scientist Prof P J Bhat will talk on Indian space science achievement. Science models prepared by college students will also be exhibited on the occasion, said Poornaprajna College retired professor Dr A P Bhat
He also said that five telescopes have been arranged for witnessing solar eclipse. A screen will be put up to display the celestial event, he added.
