Ayush Department to Launch Meditation Sessions For Cruise Passengers Arriving at Mangalore Port

The Dakshina Kannada Ayush department will soon launch pre-booked guided meditation sessions for cruise passengers who arrive at the New Mangalore Port. The cruise season started in the last week of November and will go on till May.

Dr Mohammad Iqbal, district Ayush officer saisd that as many as 25 passengers, mostly senior citizens, have made use of the free service offered at the Meditation Center set up at the cruise lounge of the port. The centre has been set up on pilot basis, where tourists are introduced to relaxation techniques and yogasanas. After assessing the needs of the passengers, pre-booked sessions for tourists will be launched.
