Ban on Water Sport Activities & Visit to St Mary’s Island at Malpe Beach Extended Till September 25

The Udupi district administration has extended the ban on water sports and other activities like visit to St Mary’s Island till September 25. The decision has been taken for safety reasons due to rain and heavy wind.

Earlier the ban was in place till September 15 but recently has been extended till September 25. As the sea continues to be rough, no one is allowed to get into the water as per DC’s order. Tourists who visited the beach during the holidays were disappointed due to the extended period of ban.
