BJP leader K S Eshwarappa makes defamatory remarks against Christians: Community seeks an apology

April 15: BJP leader K S Eshwarappa said that the christian community was not trustworthy as the people were not loyal to the country. This remark made by the former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa has hurt the sentiments of the community members.
Robert Menezes, president of the Catholic Sabha condemned these words said by Eshwarappa. Members of Christian community have sought action against Eshwarappa for his defamatory remarks against the community. Demanding an apology from him, Robert Menezese said that the BJP high command should take action against him.
