Brahmakalashotsava at Kateel Temple: Preparatory Meeting Held By Ministers

September 21: A preparatory meeting regarding Brahmakalashotsava of Kateel temple was held on Friday, September 20. MP Nalin KUmar Katten, District In Charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, DC SIndhu Roopesh were present during the meeting.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel while setting a deadline to officials said that the pending work should be completed within two months. He said the road from bypass road-Ullanje-Mithabaily-Poopadikallu-Kondela- degree college should be laid and permission letter should be sought from owners of the land for arranging parking space during Brahmakalashotsava.
District-in-Charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said all the shops on the road in Kateel were causing many inconveniences to the devotees. He also mentioned that shops should adhere to the rules and regulations of the government in the temple premises. Those who fail to follow the rules, permits will be suspended.
DC Sindhu B Rupesh said that government has permitted the temple to sanction Rs 5 crore to the Brahmakalasha. Additional Deputy Commissioner M J Roopa, MLA Umanath Kotian, ZP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr R Selvamani was also present for the meeting.
