Cancellation of holidays is just a proposal and not final decision: Minister U T Khader

June 6: District In-Charge Minister U T Khader said that decision on cancelling holiday for Eid, Good Friday, Mahalaya Amavasye and others is only a proposal. He mentioned that the proposal for scrapping of holidays is submitted on rejig of holiday calendar of government employees.
The state government had not taken any final decision regarding this. Minister Khader  stated that the government will always consider the suggestions and opinion of the people before taking a decision.
