Candidates deny being behind negative memes of opponents

March 29: Upcoming Loksabha polls have create a sense of war on social media across the country. Dakshina kannada is no less in the matter of counter attacking the opponent candidate on social media.
IT cells of BJP & Congress say that are only sending out only positive messages and have no connection with circulation of memes mocking the opponents.
Congress candidate from Dakshina Kannada, Mithun Rai said that he is not sure who is behind the memes. He said that people are doing it for his sake since they wish to see change. Convener of BJP social media campaign in Dakshina Kannada, said that the team is not engaged in negative campaigning. The focus is only on highlighting the work of Union Government as well as the MP Candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel.
The parties attribute these mocking and negative memes to a group of young followers of the candidates.
