Carrying school children over the limit: 48 cases registered

June 11: It is seen that school children are ferried more than limits in vehicles. Mangalore city traffic police had warned against violating rules and the action to be taken against the violators.
Mangalore city police commissioner Sandeep Patil on his twitter handle had warned strict penal action against those who violate the maximum passenger rule, as it puts life at risk.

Inspite of the warning given to the van and auto drivers, children were carried in excess. More than 48 cases have been registered against the violators in Mangalore city.
