Centre Releases Additional 2,500 KL of Kerosene Oil For Traditional Fishermen: Good Move

The Union Petroleum Ministry has released an additional 2500 kilo litre of kerosene oil to the traditional fishermen of the coastal region on January 12, Thursday. For the year 2022-23 the ministry has already distributed 5,472 kilo litres of  kerosene  to the traditional fishermen and the same was released in two phases. While 2,472 kilo litres was released first, 3,000 kilo litres was released in the second phase.

The information was provided by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje. In total, the fishermen of the coast have received 7,972 kilo litres of kerosene oil this year.
