Change in timings of train service

May 2: The timings of the train services will be changed due to the track relaying work between Kumbla and Kasaragod Section and Kanhangad-Nieshwar Section Payyanur-Pazhayangadi from May 3 to June 6, except Sundays and Wednesdays.
Train Number (No) 22609 Mangalore Central-Coimbatore Intercity Super Fast Express scheduled to leave Mangalore Central at 11.45 am will be rescheduled to leave Mangalore Central at 12.35 pm with a delay of 50 minutes from May 3 to June 6. In connection with a bridge reconstruction work being taken up between Ettakot and Kannur South Railway Stations on May 2 and May 9 (Thursdays), Train No 22638 Mangalore Central-Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central Railway station West Coast Express has been rescheduled. The train will leave Mangalore Central Railway Station at 11.20 pm instead of 10.20 pm on May 2 and 9 (with one hour delay). The partial cancellation of the service of Train No 70105/70106 Madgaon-Mangalore Central-Madgaon DEMU passenger between Tokur and Mangalore Central section has been extended up to May 31. To facilitate the engineering work related to the replacement of scissors crossover and provision of electronic interlocking at Madukkarai station, a few train services will be changed. Train No 16859 Chennai Egmore-Mangalore Central Express will be regulated enroute for 45 to 60 minutes at Podanur on May 4, 11 and 13. And the same service will be regulated enroute by 30 minutes at Madukkarai on May 12, said a press release from Palakkad Division.
