Change in Train Services due to track doubling

March 20: Due to the work of track doubling between Kulashekara – Jokatte station in Mangalore Junction -Jokatte section, there will be change in the services of few trains from March 22 to March 26.
M K Gopinath, PR Officer, Southern Railway , Palakkad Division said that the service of Train No 22635 Madgaon Mangalore Central Intercity Superfast Express & the service of Train No 22636 Mangalore Central – Madgaon Intercity Superfast Express will be cancelled from March 22 to March 26. The service of Train No 56640 Mangalore Central – Madgaon Passenger & Train No 56641 Madgaon – Mangalore Central Passenger will also be cancelled.
Along with this, there will be termination of few trains from Mangalore Central & Mangalore Junction.
Train No 12133 Mumbai CST- Mangalore Junction Express will be upto Surathkal station instead of Mangalore Junction on March 22, 23, 24, 26. Train No 12134 Mangalore Junction-Mumbai CST Express will start its journey from Surathkal station & not from Mangalore Junction on March 22, 23, 24 & 26. The services of Train 12620 Mumbai Lokamanya Tilak Mumbai-Mangalore Central Matsyagandha Express will start its journey from Surathkal station instead of Mangalore Central on March 26. The services of Train No 16515 Yeshwanthpur-Mangalore junction-Karwar Express will be partially cancelled between Mangalore Junction & Karwar on March 22. The service of Train No16516 Karwar-Mangalore junction-Yeshwanthpur Express will be cancelled between Karwar-Mangalore on March 23.
