Chief minister has failed to handle water crisis: Kota Srinivas Poojary

May 10: The leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary alleged that despite severe drought situation across the state, the coalition government had remained inactive. He added that the chief minister has failed utterly in handling the crisis. He said many districts in state, including Udupi, were facing acute water scarcity. The state government should immediately take action to ensure drinking water to the people.
Poojary urged the state government to initiate measures with the approval from the Election Commission and implement relief measures in drought-hit districts.
