Child Helpline Number 1098 in DK District Receives 113 Calls in July

The Child helpline number 1098 in Dakshina Kannada received 113 calls in the month of July. Highest calls were received from Bantwal, Belthangady and Sullia. The helpline provides emergency response to all issues related to children like emergency care, nutrition, food kits and also mental abuse. Several calls were received regarding children who were found begging on the streets. Calls regarding mobile phone & network issues for online classes were also received.
