Cleanliness drive at Uppinangady Sangama

April 26: The Scouts students of Indraprastha Vidyalaya conducted a cleanliness drive at Sangama, the confluence of the Rivers Nethravathi and Kumaradhara. During the drive they removed the waste items dumped at the place. The Scouts students who cleaned the place and removed clothes and plastic waste from the river are Aniketh Kumar Sathwik Pariyar, Nyas Rai, Abhishikt John, Sri Ram and Vaibhav Prabhu.

Uppinangady Sri Sahasralingeshwara Temple Manager Venkatesh Rao lauded the efforts in cleaning the river by these students and said that he will urge all the devotees not to dump clothes to the river.
