Compressor explosion at Qatar: Man from Punjalkatte loses life
July 25: A man from Punjalkatte died in a compressor explosion at Qatar. He was working as a supervisor in an AC and chiller plant in Qatar. The deceased is Sandesh Shetty (30), son of Ganesh Shetty and Varija. He was a native of Maladi Puriya in Punjalkatte.
Sources said that his that his wife had been to Qatar on a visitor’s visa 20 days ago. He had celebrated his birthday on July 14.
