Congress manifesto for Dakshina Kannada released

April 7: MLC and DCC president Harish Kumar releases the Congress manifesto for Dakshina Kannada at the party office in Mangalore on Sunday.

While talking to the reporters, Former minister B Ramanath Rai said that the Congress party’s manifesto for Dakshina Kannada is a real manifesto, unlike the BJP’s ‘Jumla manifesto. He said that the needs of the district were kept in mind while drafting the manifesto. The Congress has assured in its manifesto that Vijaya bank would be revived if the party came to power.
KPCC vice president Prof Radhakrishnan said that PM Narendra Modi’s slogans have turned out to be ‘slow-guns’ and new slogans are coined so that the people forget the older ones. He criticized the BJP goverment for taking the voters for granted.He even said that public sector companies like the BSNL is on the verge of closure as well as the the Mangalore airport has been handed over to a corporate company.
