Congress Rebel candidate Amrith Shenoy raises poll funds from public

March 28: Congress Rebel candidate Amrith Shenoy who is contesting the upcoming Loksabha electionsas an independent, raised donations for his campaigning from the public on Thursday.
Amrith Shetty, who was not happy that the Udupi-Chickmagalur Lok Sabha constituency seat was given to JD(S) as per the seat-sharing agreement, decided to contest an independent candidate & filed his nomination papers on March 26.
Amrith Shenoy took out a procession from Jodukatte area. He was accompanied by social activist Dr P V Bhandary, RTI activist Yogesh Shet and many others. Dr P V Bhandary presented him Rs 10,000 on the spot.
