Couple rescued before son stabs them with knife

April 20: Mabu Shetty of Perampalli Bhandary house said that his son Prajot Shetty assaulted him and his wife. He said that accused Prajot Shetty returned home drunk and abused them with foul language and later assaulted them with a stick. Later when he was about to attack them with a knife, neighbours rushed in an prevented the incident.
Mabu Shetty injured his finger during this act. He has been admitted to a hospital at Ajjarakadu where he is receiving treatment for the injuries he suffered during the assault. As per the complaint filed by the couple, a case has been registered at Manipal police station.
