Crackdown on city buses for violating traffic rules!

The Mangalore City Police took strict action against the city buses on Thursday for violating traffic rules. Nearly 271 buses were booked & fine of Rs 32600 was collected in one day.
Out of these 271 busses, 95 buses were booked for using shrill horns, 38 buses for rash driving & 79 buses for not issuing tickets to the passengers. Remaining buses were booked for several other reasons of traffic violation.
