Cricket betting during IPL: Two arrested

The City Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil has arrested two persons who were involved in cricket betting and have seized Rs 3.96 lakh from them. The arrested have been identified as Lakshith and Nithin.
He said an investigation had revealed that two bookies Melwyn Vishwas and Denzil involved in betting and are operating online and from outside Mangalore. Both hail from Thokkottu in Mangalore. The duo leave to Goa during the IPL tournaments and engage themselves in online betting.
Patil said That the police would arrest the two bookies soon.
