Cyclone Fengal Impact: Mangalore Receives Heavy Rainfall Causing Water Logging in Many Places

As an impact of Cyclone Fengal, Heavy rains have been lashing Mangalore and other parts of the district since Monday night. The rains continued overnight and persist into Tuesday morning. The incessant rains has led to water logging at many places and there have been reports of water entering houses in several areas. Thunderstorms caused power outages across several regions.

The DK district administration has already declared holiday for schools and colleges on Tuesday. Water logging led to inconvenience at Kottara Chowki, Pumpwell, Thokkottu and other places.
