Cyclone Maha Moves Towards Northwest: Coastal Districts Escape From Its Fury

November 2: Indian meteorological department said that Cyclone Maha is moving towards coastal districts of Karnataka and would result in heavy rainfall accompanied by lightening and thunder.
The cyclone which was expected to bring heavy rainfall in coastal Karnataka started moving away from Arabian Sea and is now moving in the direction of northwest.
Orange alert was issued in the region and fishermen was advised not to venture into deep sea fishing. But currently the officials of meteorological department said that the cyclone has become weak and is moving towards Oman.
This has brought relief to the people of Coastal districts.
