Daily Flights on Mangalore-Bangalore Route Will be Reduced From June 1 to 15: Know More

The flights on Mangalore-Bengaluru route which is the busiest domestic air route, has reduced. Total seven flights are operated daily by both Air India Express and IndiGo on between Mangalore and Bengaluru route, but there will be only five flights a day operating from June 1 to 15.

AIE used to operate two flights, and IndiGo had five daily flights.Currently, AIE has withdrawn one flight. From June 1 onwards, IndiGo will be reducing its flights from five to four. AIE, which has temporarily halted operations, will resume flights from June 16.

Flights may have been reduced since the June-July months are considered a lean period, and there is not much passenger flow. However, aircraft will not be replaced with ATR flights. They will continue to fly with Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, and Air India Express operates the Boeing 737 Max.
