Daivapatri assaulted at Bikernakatte: Click to know why

May 13: A ‘Daiva Patri’ was assaulted and manhandles by a group of people including women who forcibly cut off his hair. It was alleged that the patri had indulged in ‘homosexual activity’ or Gay sex. The videos and pictures of the incident have gone viral on social media.
The incident took place near a ground at Bikernakatte where some event was held. The video shows some people forcibly removing his ‘Parti bangle’ and chopping off his hair and also demanding an apologise from him.
This incident has invoked anger among people on social media who said that no one has right to take law into one’s hands. People have commented that this was an insult to the ‘Daiva’ and it would not be tolerated.
