September 6: Another honest IAS officer of the state, Sasikant Senthil, has stunned the citizens of Mangalore by resigning from his post as the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada.
In his resignation, Sasikant Senthil has mentioned that this is his personal decision as he feels it is not right to continue as a DC in a country where democracy is declining.
