Dakshina Kannada Records 77.44% Polling & Udupi-Chikkamagaluru 76.06% For Lok Sabha Election

The coastal districts witnessed a good voter turnout during the polling day on April 26, which encompassed 14 parliamentary seats in Karnataka. While Dakshina Kannada recorded a significant voter turnout of 77.44%, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru recorded 76.06%, as per the reports from the Election Commission.

The final voter turnout figures reveal Dakshina Kannada with 77.44% (Beltangady 75.59%, Bantwal 73.69%, Puttur 75.2%, Mangalore 73.45%, Sullia 78.35%, Moodbidiri 68.62%, Mangalore North 69.75%, and Mangalore South 61.81%), and Udupi with 75.80% (Karkala 78.50%, Kaup 79.03%, Kundapur 79.10%, Chikkamagaluru 69.00%, Mudigere 75.12%, Sringeri 80.20%, and Tarikere 73.20%) as of 3 pm.
