Dasara Holidays from September 28 to October 13: Yet Students Are Not Happy. Check Out Why

September 15: Dasara Holidays will begin from September 28 to October 13. Yet Pre-university (PU) students are upset since the mid-term examinations have been scheduled after the dasara vacations.
Usually the dasara holidays are declared after completion of mid tern exams. As per the events mentioned on department of PU education’s calendar the examinations will start from October 16 whereas the all PU colleges will declare Dasara holidays from September 28 to October 13.
Both PU  students and teachers are of the opinion that scheduling the mid-term examinations after the vacation defeats the very purpose of giving such a long holiday specially during the festival which is celebrated grandly throughout the state.
A senior PU lecturer said that due to this, the students will not be able to involve themselves in the dasara celebration.
