DC Sasikanth Senthill to monitor the Abbakka Utsav

The two day Abbakka utsav which will be organized at Ullal beach from Saturday will be monitored directly by Deputy commissioner of DK Sasikanth senthill. He said the entire festival including all the programmes will be monitored by District administration.

Funds from last year’s Abbakka festival will be released by the District Administration. All the programmes wil be decided by the District Administration, Zilla Pancghayat & kannada & cultural department.. Equality programmes inviting eminent artists are also arranged.

District Minister U T Khader said the festival will commence with a processon from Bharath High School at 3.30 pm on Saturday. Several cultural programmes will be held at the venue on seashore in Ulla. Along with the cultural programmes several sessions will be on Rani Abbakka.
