Deadline To Obtain Fastag Ends: Should Vehicles Without Fastag Pay Double?

January 16: The deadline to obtain fastag for faster passage through tollgates was extended till January 15. Vehicles which have not yet obtained fastag will have to pay double the normal charges at tollgates from January 16, 2020.
Vehicles including ambulances, fire extinguishers, VVIP vehicles etc are exempted from toll fee payment. Out of other private vehicles only 75% o vehicles have obtained fastag.
Several people who have booked for fastag are yet to receive the same, and will have to pay extra at the toll gate.
