Deep Sea Fishing Ban Starts From June 1 For Two Months in Mangalore & Udupi
The fishing season in Mangalore & Udupi ends on May 31 due the beginning of the breeding season.Mechanised boating is prohibited from June 1 to July 31 and only traditional fishing will be allowed until July 31 in rivers and the sea.
Additionally, during the monsoon, the sea becomes violent with huge waves and high-velocity winds, posing a danger to boats and fishermen.
